The executive who led the team that contributed some of the most innovative education products at Apple during 2004-2009, is joining UNI as Professor of Practice in Digital Technologies, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Chair of the Advisory Board of the DTIE Hub.

Alan Greenberg brings a wealth of experience and expertise to UNI, having served as the former Head of Higher Education EMEA then Education Director China & AsiaPAC at Apple Inc. He led the team that built Education Podcasting, launched iTunes U in the UK and Europe, developed Apple Education iOS APP and mobile engagement and Apple APP development initiatives with Universities. In China he helped create a major CSR initiative and program; SEED. A partnership between Apple Inc, Foxconn and Pearson that remains an essential program for educating factory workers and improving their outcomes and careers. Currently, he serves as a Co-Founder, Director, Advisor, Consultant and VC to a portfolio of education and healthtech impact-driven businesses in London, Munich, Dubai, Cape Town, Delhi, Tokyo & New York.

With a distinguished career spanning the technology and education sectors, he is primed to lead UNI’s efforts in equipping students with the skills necessary to thrive in the AI and digital era. Throughout his career, Mr. Greenberg has been a driving force behind educational initiatives aimed at preparing future generations for the challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies. In addition to his academic role, Alan Greenberg will serve as the Chair of the Advisory Board of the Digital Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Hub at UNI.
